Double heart box for my Valentine

I wanted something different for my wife for Valentine’s day. I knew I wanted something with hearts, I just didn’t know what. Several rough drawings later and I decided on this double heart. I used and existing pattern to get the shape and then drew the two together. It is made of walnut and maple with bloodwood handles. My wife doesn’t like a high gloss finish so I used Boiled Linseed Oil (BLO) and several coats of wax. She seemed to really like it. Hopefully you will too.
