This is one of two jewelry boxes made for my daughters for Christmas. Made of cherry with walnut dovetail keys in the mitered lid. All stock prep/joinery was done by hand. The dovetail keys were tricky but fun to cut. Finished with oil/varnish blend and coat of wax.

I totally love the contrasting woods! Very nice! And handwork? EVEN BETTER!

Very nicely done. I love cherry for making small boxes, and the walnut keys in the lid add extra pizazz!
