Walnut with steam-ben ash door slats. Birdseye maple upper on the door. All dovetails cut by hand. Brusso hardware. This was a project for the hand tools class taught by Jack Reynolds at the NW Woodworking Studio. I Love walnut. After my kids, and wife, I think it’s my 3rd Love in life.

Unique look and feel to it, but I love it. I’m about to build one for myself using walnut as well. Hope mine turns out as nice as yours…

Wow, that is absolutely gorgeous, that walnut is amazing, and those slats are really cool. Fine craftsmanship.

it should be ok to have a love for walnut. Very well executed cabinet
