I built this to protect. The cardboard box it came in did not offer much protection. Just some old pine and scrap mohogany, and some 1/4 oak plywood.

Nice tool box, a good tool needs a good place to stay when not being used.

That’s a great looking storage box for a nice tool. I too like to make fancy boxes to store shop stuff in. If it had ‘Shipwright hinges’ it would be perfect! LOL Sorry, but I’m addicted to those hinges and just look for an excuse to make more.
