My oldest daughter has embarrassed travel. She has traveled to the 4 corners of the world to experience thing most of us only dream of (dive the Great Barrier Reef, run with the bulls in Pamploma). I am very proud of her and to celebrate her accomplishments I decided to build a small box to store her memories. I got the idea from a picture i saw. The piece is made almost entirely from a pallet found and reclaimed. Turned out to be poplar. It measures about 11” X 8” X 10” give or take. While it is functional, i think it probably works best as a piece of folk art. Who knows, maybe 100 years from now we will see it on “Antiques Roadshow” worth millions. HA HA

Great idea. Well done. I like the “well traveled” look you gave to the final finish.

Very cool and great use of the pallet wood. I have seen these in furniture stores as a larger table but not in the smaller format, I like it.
