Cherry Desk

Here is a cherry desk that I made for myself. I wanted a desk that would meet my needs. It turned out great. It has two writing surface pullouts. Three drawers on one side and two on the other with the big one being a file cabinet drawer.

Finished with linseed oil, clear shellac, and then amber Boston Paste wax (same wax Thomas Moser uses).

Thanks-

That’s a very nice desk!
The drawer inserts seem to be very handy and a lot better than the plastic ones.

Great job! I have a cherry desk that I also made for myself (haven’t posted it here yet) I might add in the writting tables after looking at yours.

Beautifully done. It looks like an old design from the 40’s, but with it’s own unique twists.
