Oregon Pine Corner Shelf

I made this corner shelf for a friend from some old Oregon pine flooring that I scavenged during a house restoration. Oregon pine is very popular for furniture and cabinets in this area…..but hectic expensive for pine!!

That’s a nice looking piece.

I always thought that Oregon Pine was just another name for Douglas Fir but that doesn’t look like D. Fir.

At any rate , nice work, an interesting concept for a shelf.

Nice design and workmanship.
But, I agree with Paul, that looks like pine not Douglas Fir which is what Oregon Pine is called outside of Oregon.
