I made this coffee table all from maple scraps I got from a cabinet shop. I made my own concoction for the stain. I know it seems ridiculous to stain maple, but I get so much of it free I had to try something different with it. I’m not completely please on how the table turned out as a coffee table, but it works great off to the side with pictures on it.

Looks nice, if you ever need a place to unload some maple scraps, I am always willing to accept them.
-- Martin ....always count the number of fingers you have before, and after using the saw.
