This is one of my spoons. I posted a blog about my spooning journey called my spoon period. If you are interested.

Thanks spoontanious, who rekindled my interest in spooning again.

The ladle is my favorite. Is it all one piece or is it connected at the bowl?

@jimi all one piece. I played with idea that handle can be attached anywhere on bowl. Much more carving to do to and keep attached on back somewhere.

Wood is mostly cherry. Ladle has vanes in it.

Thanks for looking did you see my blog?

All good looking and nicely done. I too liked the ladle best.

Love your spoons…thanks for sharing photos of your carving tools on the blog portion, too!

I always like to see others’ tools and methods…I just received burrs in the mail this week, and love them!

...gotta love that cherry…just naturally beautiful…

Nice work Phil! Me, I like the first one best… nice lines. Although the ladle has great lines too. Hmmm. eeny meeny miney moe. Yeah…. spoons are a great canvas to work with. Looking forward to the next batch.
