SOME NEW ADDITIONS TO MY I-BEAM BED

This is the hanging television mount accessrory for my wooden I-Beam Bed. It swivels rotates and everything. It just hang there in space. I only attach the HDMI cable when I use it as an extended monitor because the cable is so stiff but the Broad Band Cable is always connected.
I couldn’t select a wood because it’s not really wood, it’s MDF and Chunk [chip] Board.
Hope you guys like it?

Awesome! Very whimsical. It reminds me a little of the incredible Dan Sawatzky. If you’re thinking of doing a cool glaze to make it look like some kind of rusted or aged metal, take a look at Dan’s site for some inspiration. http://imaginationcorporation.com/journal/. Somewhere in there is a video where he shows how he does it.

Regardless of how you finish it, it’s a unique and clever project. Keep up the good work!

These are the cable and wiring clamps I made to support the T.V. cable and power cord. I’v decided that I am going to make a wooden bus bar contact with sliding contactors like bridge cranes have that will slide along with the T.V. when it is moved. Don’t you think that would be cool and look a lot more engineered?
