I decided that the first thing I needed to build on my quest to build furniture was a workbench to build it on.
So I headed off to the local salvage yard. Picked up a bunch of old timber and away I went.
Definitively a big learning project for me. Many firsts in here ( joints, etc) but was fun and only stuffed it up a little bit!
Overall pretty happy and it is certainly great to use

A great start. Workbench’s can never be big enough. If I had the room I would have a monster of a bench!

I love a good workbench and you did a great job, I’m a big fan of recycled, reused & repurposed lumber, or is that 3 of the same thing?

I really like the way you can get at it from all sides. More of a square shape rather than the usual rectangular beasts we see. I love it.
