another entrance bench to replace the one that sold. I’m finding with the economy fumbling along it is the simpler projects reasonably priced that are moving for me. reclaimed cedar roof planks i found on Craigslist free. about 500 linear feet x 12 inchs wide. a couple of hours of millwork and assembly and a 125.00 price tag seem to be a winning formula. even the screws i use are reclaimed.as i do not have to worry about the stretching they go through as they are really only fasteners until the gorilla glue dries

Very nice, and using reclaimed lumber makes it even nicer.

That’s a very attractive bench, especially for all reclaimed lumber. When the economy’s down, you build what will sell!

I really like that bench. Simple, yet stylish and just the right amount of rustic. That would fit in nicely here in Texas!
