Simple breadboard made from maple found at the local Home Depot. Finished with beeswax and mineral oil.
Tip: Always check their hardwood section for treasures like this!

Nice. Home Depots in Florida don’t know what maple is. the only hardwoods they stock are red oak and poplar.

Home depot and Lowes around here carry nothing but oak poplar and pine. I don’t even look at wood there unless I need construction grade stuff. Great score you got there, Looks good

the closest you’d get to birdseye at my local HD is if a pigeon got trapped in the store
