My oldest grandson making his Pinewood Derby Car

This is Gavin my grandson using my shop to power carve his 2nd Pinewood Derby Car. Last year he got 1st in his Division. This year he got 2nd and also got a trophy for the fastest looking car. The photo of the actual race is his car in front going over the finish line. He is missing the little Lego Man that he had for a driver in the picture. He flew out during a race (Such Raw Power).

That sure looks like fun, hope mine is into that when he is old enough! Question, is that a basement window cover that you are using as a type of dust shield? Looks like it works well.
