Great looking table and do you not love it when the wife makes you build something. I always get more lumber than needed and I seem the need for a new tool to completer “her” project.

Very nice table. If I had to guess I would say it is mahogany. I am glad to see that I am not the only one on this site who simply says, “Yes dear”, when given an assignment (after 31 years I HAVE learned my lesson). :)
Thanks for the post.

It is red oak and walnut, and I enjoy the table and love the chairs. They are in her quilting room and I can sleep soundly in them while she shows me her new fabrics.

First off, it shoudn’t be what your wife MADE you do, it should be what your wife LET you make. :) All kidding aside, great job with it. Looks great with the chairs. I want to be makeing some sort of table but my dad doesn’t want me to make furniture for our house. He doesn’t “trust” me. I just think he’s jelous that he cant make furniture himself lol.

Nice table – now build her a couple of nice Morris chairs and make her feel guilty for buying chairs.

Considering you built it under some sort of force, threat, duress, etc., it came out quite nice! :-)
And to Tyler: It seems like you already have a pretty good handle on this marriage thing. lol!
