This flute was made in Native American Style. Since learning to play last March, I also decided to make flutes.
Flute making is guided by the Ki-e-ta method, thanks to Keith Stanford. This is #16 of 19 I have created so far.
The body is walnut, while the fetish is alder. The fetish represents the low-crouching Arizona Roadrunner as it runs through the sagebrush. The voice is clear and crisp.

We were at Keystone in Colorado and were fortunate enought to hear a gentleman, Leon Joseph Little Bear, perform on Native American Flutes. It was a fabulous show, and I have thought about trying to make a Native American ‘style’ flute ever since.

VERY NICE!

I’ve always thought about making a Flute. Another thing to highlight on my list.

If you decide to make a flute, I recommend beginning your journey with the manual from
Keith Stanford. It is a wonderful journey.
