Made of ash and measuring 30 inches across, this piece, since my scroll saw has a throat measuring 22 inches, had to be done in 4 separate parts then joined together. After rejoining, elk was then carved to add definition. Background painting was done by myself. This was my main focal piece in an arts and crafts show last fall. It sold the very first day. Man I love working with wood!!!

Really nice work and excellent joinery, you could never tell it was 4 pieces, true craftsmanship.

-- Martin ....always count the number of fingers you have before, and after using the saw.
