Carved from ash. Stripes are separate strips of ash 1/4” in thickness. Frame is made of walnut with ash corner accents. Lettering at frame top cut from 1/8” thickness ash. Medallions depicting branches of our nations forces embedded in lower frame were ordered through a local military surplus store. Backside is felt covered. All colors are stains I mix myself using artist oils and clear sealer. This took me about 2 weeks to complete.
