This is my latest rocker. The wood used for this chair is black walnut with some nice curly figure. This chair features solid back spindles and a coopered seat. Pat is very happy with her new rocker.

I would certainly hope that Pat is very happy with her chair, this is a fine rocker with wonderful wood.

That is beautiful. One day maybe I will be good enough to attempt something like this… so beyond my capabilities… so impressive.

Fantastic looking rocker! Great looking wood and craftsmanship! I’m drying some 2” thick walnut, and some 2” maple to build a couple of rockers. I’ve got enough 2” cherry to build two chairs.

Thanks every one for the nice comments.

gpastor, I design my own chairs. There are not any plans available for this chair design, but plans are available from some of Lumberjocks members such as Hal Taylor and Scott Morrisson.
