This is a marking gauge that I made using only hand tools. It started out as a piece of firewood that was then split with a froe and the hand planed to the correct dimensions. The blade is from an old small carving tool. Thanks for looking.

Nice basic design. I like the simplicity of this piece.
You did a great job with those hand tools while making another hand tool. Now that’s using the ol’ noggin.

Mirtyroc I’m not sure how long it took to make because I worked on it in my spare time. Just guessing I would say about 3 hours. I work slow.
