This pattern is from Sheila Landry’s Little Leaf Wildlife Forrest Collection. I like the Bears and this was a fun and easy pattern to do.

The Bear itself if made of 1/4” Walnut, the backer, or leaf part is made of 1/8” Baltic Birch. For the finish I soaked them in Watkins Danish oil, then sprayed them with semi-gloss poly.

There isn’t much around the edged for the typical hanger that I use, sawtooth, so I haven’t put one on yet. I thought about gluing it on, but how long will that last?

I would recognize Sheila’s patterns anywhere! :-)

You make them look wonderful – I like the BB background.

Nice job!

You did a beautiful job on these! They really look great in the walnut with the light background. :)
