Airplane Rocker - F16 Fighting Falcon

I decided to go with a modern era airplane rocker and chose the F16 for this design. It went together pretty quick and had a uniqueness of its own. The long body with short winspan made for better pitch rocking and not so much for side-to-side action. The “cockpit” was cut more for the smaller pilot, but very secure. The people to whom I sold this airplane painted the Montana Air National Guard livery. They, in turn, gave it to their friend a MANG F16 pilot as a gift for his son. I was told he really enjoyed it, but I would make a few changes to the design if I ever built another one.

Wow, I wish I’d had one when I was a kid! I’d like to see the smile on the little pilots face the first time he got to sit in his rocker. Beautiful design and I’m sure you’ll be making more of them after the guys in the squadron see this one.

I like your airplane rockers, but this one is a favorite since I also live in Montana, Missoula to be exact, and have
a grandson in the Air Force, might have to make something similar for my great grandson, but since he is only
2, I have a couple of days. Thank you for sharing.

F16 is mighty nice…. but I think I like the P51D mustang in the back ground… Nice rockers my friend. I sure they will be enjoyed by all.

These are great rockers! My dad flew F-15’s so I plan to try and make a similar style for my son, but with F-15 body. You know they say two engines are better then one! Thanks for the great inspiration!
