My dad’s workshop is a great place to be creative. I’m a new teacher and thought it was only appropriate to make my first bandsaw box into the shape of an apple. Used a drill press to insert the “stem.” It’s made of pine. I forget what the stain is… but the paint, I want to say it’s milk paint.

Anywho, this is my first ever project. I hope to something else soon.

Cute! You should take it to work and set it on your desk…I bet the kids will think it’s cool that you made it.
Good start….keep being creative :)

Very cool box. Gonna steal your idea and try one. I especially like the color and finish.
