Made this outta scrap cedar this morning. Nothing fancy, just messing around. The “southern lady” in the pic is my mom who passed away several years ago. Pic was taken on 12-25-1999. My sister gave me the pic and I just had to frame it. The “jig” (LOL) is the only thing I could think to do to keep the pieces from flying all over the place. We aint to hi-tech here in the hills!

The frame is only 1/8’’ in thickness. Overall it measures 16’’ x 9’’ on the outside and 11’’ x 4’’ on the inside. Finished with Howard’s wax. Still need to put a “backing” on the frame to hold the pic in but all in all I am pleased with it and will display it proudly in the house. Thanks for looking.

Nice frame and a great tribute to your mom.

Lost mine a few years before you and I still miss her everyday.

Very nice frame. With results like that the results definitely justifies the means.
