Nicely done…a good clean hand carving…which I like, and respect a HELL of a lot more then seeing something very elaborate and reading the description just to find out it was CNC carved, lol! I do all my carvings by hand, so I respect it alot when I see others who do the same :) Good job, and thanks for sharing!

I wholeheartedly agree with kolwdworkrsgirl. When it comes to CNC machine done stuff, I don’t consider it wood working nor art, so I generally don’t even look at it. Nice job Davoak!

Same here LittlePaw! Anyone can tell a machine what to do and watch it do all the work for you, but doing it by hand with your own strength and hand tools takes time and skill and makes it into art because it’s up to your own artistic interpretation. When I see a cool carving and I look, and then read the description and see it was CNC carved, I get very disappointed, and I just say nevermind to the comment I was GOING to give, lol!
