This is my first project post. I made this chair using red oak for my son. It was a fun project to make and considering that I’m new to woodworking I feel like it turned out nicely. He has flipped it over to “drive” it through the house with no dings so far.

Those are nice chairs. Last year I saw a nymber of Year 9 school students make some in their woodwork class to a very similar pattern. Theirs weren’t nearly as nicely done as yours is though.

And of course your son flipped it over to drive through the house. That’s just the way children’s chairs work. Now you know.

This looks like a chair that will last for a long time. Great job.
