Rob,
This is a very nice cabinet. And the stain/finish looks good as well. Maple can be a challenge to stain. Would you care to elaborate on your staining and finishing process that you used on cabinet?

Rob that is a fantastic looking cabinet – the finish is really nice. Color is ok – but don’t take offense by that – color is one of those personal tastes and mine just happens to be with the lighter colors. This takes nothing away from the job you did – it is outstanding.

Thanks for the compliments. The finish is first Minwax wood conditioner, then the stain is Minwax gunstock ( it looks better on oak. Actually this was the color that the ladies in the office picked out from different samples shown to them. ) Then Minwax gloss poly.
