It is 53mm in diameter spinning top made of 9 pieces of red and waved green acrylic which I had bought originally to turn pens. The only wooden part is the launcher, osage orange. The digital picture shows the top in frozen position but the eye sees it mixed as purple. The C battery is there only to compare the size.
Miter Fix is used to glue the pieces.

Another great looking top Sam, like the way you have mixed the acrylics. Could spend a lot of time spinning it.

should have perfect balance Sam being acrylic so spin well. This is a very colourful piece of gear mate, she’s a beautie, :: ))

I’m still trying, Pete. It looked Vipond33 ignored my message in which I asked him for info, or his top did never whistle and he did not know the answer.
