These are unique bird houses. I made these from Oak, even the strings are wood. The neck and chin rest were painted over in black to give it a finer look. The bridge is also oak. The inside is completely hollowed out. Really cool project. I stained a couple in mahogany and kept the others plain and just clear coated with clear poly. The welcome sign, “Fiddler’s Inn”, was wood burned. I really enjoy making these, as you can see I’ve made more than one.

What unique, amazing and wonderfu idea for bird houses, Kris! I hope my daughter doesn’t see these, as she will bug me to make her one. . . she sets her bird houses on top of her kitchen cabinets. Great!
