So this is what I’ve been working on the last month. It may not be a small intricately cut piece with blind dovetails. lol but I am really proud of it. We are expecting our third little one in May, and we needed to make room for him. So I gave up my “Man Room”, and had to frame in for a 4th bedroom/office/playroom for the next homeowners. I am really proud of the project and excited to be able to use it. More pics to come when little bit comes into the world.

Really nice, is the pink wood some sort of mold resistant or something? If that’s the case, is this the basement?

Not the basement as I see steps going down.

Hey bevins, the pink on the studs marks it as stud grade and they are pre-cut to 92 5/8”. Luckily they are hidden because I wouldn’t want to have to paint all of them. The room was originally an open “Loft” area at the top of the stairs. I simply closed it in, and added a closet.

Sweet! For a second I thought you were using purpleheart for the studs. :-)

Larger tolerances to work with. LOL I have a few of those necessary big projects outside my house and inside. Good luck and may your future of your family be bright!
