I can’t believe I forgot to post this one. I did a bar top for the photographer that shot our wedding.

Top is made to ‘cover’ the existing bar top. Plywood has mdf as the last layer under the veneer (forgot the name) giving me a perfectly flat surface upon applying the many coats of GF waterbased black stain.

Topcoated with poly sanding to 320 between coats.

Toughest part of install was getting the two pieces to come together at the logo. Had to plane down the existing bar to get them to meet in the back.

I can’t imagine trying to get that center joint right.
