Here is a red oak mirror frame that I recently finished. The crappy pics don’t really do justice but this is only my second legitimate attempt at building a piece of furniture. The frame pieces are mortise and tenoned, and all the moulding was cut on a router table. Finished with 4 coats of Formby’s “Tung Oil” which I am now aware is just a wiping varnish. Next I am planning to build a nice maple/cherry bookcase. Let me know what you think.
