First segmented bowl. Well, it started as a bowl, then made a few changes on the fly and created this piece. 160 pieces total. Maple, cherry, and walnut. Fun, time consuming, and rewarding. I found my new woodworking addiction. Wish me luck.

Best of luck, friend. I got a lathe for Christmas, and I’ve already put about 60 hours on it, which is a lot considering my day job. (granted, I have yet to do the segmented pieces)
PS: fantastic job on that vase.
