turned & carved vase

12 inch tall x3 diam ash vase, carved & dyed. my camera died last week and a friend came by & took as horrible pictures with her camera as I do with mine. !!! I’ve never tried anything like this before, but I’m pretty pleased with the result. Maybe next time I will make a faster pitch spiral . I might also carry the carving up over the top. Thanks for looking.

I really like the elongated form as it’s quite elegant and yet modern. Very classic lines yet new and exciting results!
