I believe I have acquired the addiction you all speak of. I have been really enjoying my time in the shop turning pens, although my wife says I need to get rid of some of them so I can progress to the next level. from left to right in the first pic are: cedar with maple stripe and copper kit, whitetail antler with gunmetal, cherry, zebrawood, and maple with gold, zebrawood endgrain with blue, cocobolo with gold, zebrawood longrain with satin silver, maple with cherry and black chrome, and cedar with maple turned angled with copper.

I think the antler is my favorite finished piece, but the cedar, maple and copper has been most popular with the ladies.

I am looking forward to progressing to nicer kits and more challenging materials, thanks for looking!

Variety and unique pieces do well. Nice work

I once turned a Monte Blanc Style (Woodcraft calls it European Style) with the top and bottom bushings switched. So, I put it together that way. It was the first one sold out of the showcase. Ya just never know.

Looking good. You have certainly acquired the addiction, look out it only gets worse. :)
