spent 3 days with an electric waker jackhammer removing the solid conrcet steps that where falling away from the house. no footing. idiots. the metal incert came from london drugs.thought it would look nice and it dose.

Welcome to ljsThis is a great looking deck. I build lots of decks if I can I just build the deck over the old concert steps ,but it doesn’t always work out. I like the sign. nice work.

Nice looking deck. Sounds like a little work to remove the old concrete, END result is probably worth it !

Sounds like an arse-buster job. The results look worth it. Love the insert. Is it metal?
FWIW… Only thing I might do differently is paint all vertical surfaces and leave the horizontal natural. That would tie-in all components better and draw your eyes to it.
