As some of you may know i have a passion for making something old new again, and nothing bothers me more than throwing away a perfectly good piece of woodwork just because it is old. I found this piece in an old house that was being cleaned out and it was just going to be thrown away. it was held together with a ton of nails and screws (a sin in my book). So after taking completely apart and reassembling correctly and refinished a beautiful piece emerged. it now is the perfect place for my grandmothers quilt that she made for me just before she died. it now has emotional value is well as the satisfaction of being saved from the trash. thanks to all for viewing

Very nice. I have a new appreciation for any curved edge now that I’ve done a few.
