My biggest project yet – a sleigh bed for my youngest daughter. Using 3/4” thick MDF (this thing is heavy!!!) since it’s going to be painted white instead of being stained. Going slow but soon to be completed. Will post pics once it’s finished and in place.

You’ve got a good start on the bed. That is going to be heavy when completed. I hope that you will have some help moving it into her room.

I am looking forward to seeing the finished product. I have a standing request for one of these as well.

I like it! I have a toddler bed on my short list of things to build. This is very similar to the look we are trying to match for the crib set. Looking forward to the finished project. Thanks for sharing.

Nice project. Bet she will enjoy many comfortable hours in it.

Great looking project. Paint is great for MDF.

It looks great so far. I hope that it has some “knock-down” capability or you will have to hire a moving crew to get it into place.

Thx for the comments guys. It will me moved to the room in pieces for sure (especially considering it’s in my basement and her room is on the second floor!).
