My husband has a great habit of bringing home wood from a jobsite that he thinks I may enjoy. I’ve never had a chance to look at lilac wood before. We were really surprised at the grain colors inside.

Nice pens with some neat wood. Made a duck call awhile back from what I was told was lilac. It does have some neat grain and color. Nice job.

I recently had a storm bring down part of our ancient lilac bush. It does have amazing color and grain. It also has a perfumy smell, especially when you dry it in the microwave! I’m looking forward to work with it.

Nice set!
