Great piece. My first rose intarsia… I must have spent 40 hours on. I’m a perfectionist, so that doesn’t help. After dozens of pieces, I find using a light box helps a great deal. I also use a dremel with a 2” fine sanding drum on it to trim the pieces to fit. Thought I’d share this for those who might wish to try their hand at intarsia. It can be challenging at times.

Great work, Love this style of woodworking and look fwd totrying itone day when aI get time… lol
We have a Chlt Lab from the Retriever family who we just love to death. Great job on a pic of Honey!

I had a golden growing up. He’s been gone for 11 years and I still miss him dearly. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous piece.
