Working on this project I saw in a Fine Woodworking book. It’s described as a spice rack with a really neat tip out drawer that caught my eye. I’m building it out of poplar and plywood and was thinking about finishing it with either barn red milk paint or black over a mustard with some distressing. I’ll post some pictures over the weekend.

Yes, I want to post my finished project …......

Why are you posting a picture of a project that you didn’t complete yet, and isn’t yours , here in the Finished Project area ?

Tom, I built this project several years ago and I have two cautions for you. First, be sure to use wood with no figure or very straight grain for the glass dividers. I didn’t think about this and used a stick with a rising grain pattern . Now the glass frame looks out of square eleven though it is perfectly square. Second, when you are laying out your shelves, try to align the top shelf with the horizontal glass divider. Again, I didn’t do this and the design suffered. I wound up hanging it in my shop to hold planes. This is a good project to practice your skills. Be sure to post your finished project.

I like the design; it’s really nice.
