I wanted to turn a pen for the longest time. Ended up doing this one at the Springfield, MA WW show.

Material is lightly figured maple, with a slim pen kit. I like how it came out to be.

I have been wanting to make a pen but I would have to buy a lathe and all the goodies it still is in my to do list. Looks like a fun to do project after I retire.

Nice. I’ve seen them doing it at the WW show, I’ve never stopped by to do it, I will next time.

You are an inspiration…we all turned pens the next day!
You got some nice figuring in that pen.

Very nice pen. My starter kit from psi arrived today and I am waiting for the glue to dry on my first one.

I don’t have a lathe or the room for one but every time I see something like this I get the urge to try and fit one in and learn to use it.
Nice job. I’m partial to both Maple’s looks and it’s workability.
