This is my next attempt as caricature carving. I am still learning to carve and painting may never happen for me… LOL !! Chubbs is 3 1/4” tall and made from basswood. Thanks.

That is really cute, Mike. I also like your turnings, especially the Diamond in the Rough!

How do you make it so the eyes are always watching me….or am I just paranoid?

Great carving Mike, this figure has a lot of personality. You definitely have the talent for this kind of work. Don’t worry about the painting, you will perfect that with experience.
