This is a football I turned from firewood I purchased at Publix. I call it a Frankenstein ball because I had to use a little of everything in this ball including an old pallet 2×4 . After milling the wood on the jointer I created a flat side to use on the band saw. I then tried to mill a 90 degree angle and piece the project together. I had to use the 2×4 to take up some left over space. This is for a friend of my son for his birthday. My son and him grew up playing ball together and this is their senior year and last time they will ever strap on the helmet.
