I wanted to learn how to give wooden objects a metal patina, so I learned! I’ve given these 3 objects a wonderful aged copper patina simply by using products from Sculpt Nouveau (google search). Basically, the objects are painted with a metal paint, then various chemicals are applied till the desired patina is obtained. I think it is way cool, and my attempts are probably not considered good.
The work, BTW, is all white oak, no turning, just bent white oak, bent while wet into forms and allowed to dry. Bases are white oak, too. All comments welcomed. I never made any shapes like this before, think they’re kinda neat, and look good in pairs of 3. What do you think?

Very interesting. I’m always interested in new and different things one can do with wood. Thanks for posting this.

This is a very unique project. If you had not told me I would have not known that they were wood.
Well done.
Thanks for the post.
