Assembly Work Tray

So as I head further into this whole woodworking world, I find myself in my garage making laps from shelf to cart to tray to bag in order to have everything in hand to assemble these little projects that I have been building. I decided that I needed to make something to centralize these various items, so I made this little tray/box. I’m sure things will be added and subtracted through the course of time, and eventually I may need more than one, but right now it is just the right size to be left on a shelf until needed, set on the work table next to the current endeavor or put in the back of the car, depending on what I am working on or where I am working. Thanks for checking it out and please give me suggestions for what else might be useful to put in it. It is constructed from salvaged/recycled white pine and finished with a couple coats of polyurethane.

Great idea – more than likely that idea will get stolen a few times.

Very nice and a good idea!

But, I think that if I get better organized, I won’t be able to run across the thing I couldn’t find last week. ;-)

I like it. I think this is going on my to do (someday) list!

I did think of an addition/upgrade. What it needs is a cubby for a Beer Cozy (cozying up to a cold, frosty beer, of course)!

Thanks guys! I’m pretty happy with this one.
And DIYaholic, I live under the belief that there are three things that most things can be improved with: A Handle, wheels, and a place to set your beer. Great suggestion!
