After my search for Yin Yang boxs here on LJ I was not able to find what I was looking for so I decided we needed one :) I’m a bit late for the contest but if there’s another I’ll be ready. :)

This box I made out of Spalted Hackberry and Walnut, I custom made and fit the pull knobs, replaced the lower hackberry drawer front with walnut.

Thanks for looking and comments :)

I was lucky I cut this batch of hackberry down already rotted and spalted from our family cemetery, I just wish I had gotten to it before the worms did though it does give the wood character but nothing that a little CA doesn’t fix. :)

Your Craftsmanship is well balanced! I love the combination of your wood choice, they work together, yet stand on their own. Beautiful work.

A winner no matter what

Another good one- i like the way you changed the front of one drawer to make the contrast.
