I got this Rosewood bowl blank from a fellow woodturning club member. It had a spot where the froth wings had pulled apart called wind shake, where the wind blows hard and bends or twist the tree before it has been felled. It was dangerous, I was turnip.g and the whole bowl all but left the lathe flying. I saved it and used CA to.glue it back together and let it set for a week before finishing the rough out process. After it was dry I finished turned it.

Sanded to 320 and 5 coats of lacquer. Scuff sanding with 320 between the coats. Buffing after the last coat and scuffing. The bowl is a small one with measurements of 4 1/2” x 2 1/2”. All comments and feedback good and bad are welcome. Thanks for looking.

No bad comments from me anyway. It a very eye-catching bowl with a top class finish. Nice one.
