The other day I found a chuck of dry Claro Walnut laying behind a pile of lumber. I decided to turn it to see what it had in it. It did not impress me during the turning. Ho-Hum…. however when applying the 4 coats of wipe-on poly, it came alive. My wife said ‘That is sure Shimery’ Then a monemnt later, she said ‘Wow, Shimmy-Shimmy-Shake-Shake-Shake’.

Not much of a salvage. My secretary saw it, fell in love with it, batted her eyes, I melted and said ‘I made it for you’
Great gal, alway like to make something for her! Her husband sometimes helps me around the shop. So I am always a bit of a push over.
