Mahogany & Alder Heart Bandsaw Box

This Box is similar to one of my other heart boxes that I made out of Hackberry only difference is this one is made from Mahogany and Alder, each drawer has a hidden drawer inside, once again no divider inside of the cavity between the drawers. I felt the Mahogany would be a great choice of wood due to it’s color. I was also working on another one at the same time also same design the difference was that I was using Aromatic Cedar, saddly though it met it’s demise with the belt sander it ate one of the drawers thus I had to scrap it.

very kool design. I like the double-decker drawers. 1 in the front, 1 in the back? very cleaver

I like everything about this box, Blackie. The shape, color of wood, knobs, finish. . . what’s not to like. Just in time for Valentines Day.

Cute but beautifully conceived and executed.

Pic 3 makes me think of the question “Does my bum look big in this ?” LOL

BTW, it seems you should feed your belt sander more often . . . . .
